lofoten islands, norway - Day 11 - July 22, 2023

This morning we arrived in Leknes on the Lofoten Archipelago. Leknes is located just above the Artic Circle. We bused into the country and took a 3 mile hike straight up a mountain. It was nice to get off the ship and into the countryside, but the hike was rather intense. It was a very nice day, a bit overcast but not raining. Shelly and I both made it. Our guide was a middle school math/computer teacher at the local school and was quite interesting. We had a quiet afternoon back on the ship - we were sore!
