Today we docked in Bari, Italy and went on a excursion to Castellana Caves and Polignano A Mare. The Castellana Caves were very cool! There was a very large main room that was open on the top and then some really beautiful chambers leading off from that room. As with most of the excursions, you only get a taste of the location - it would have been fun to have spent much more time in the caves.

We lost two of the people on our excursion, who I guess decided to go further into the cave without telling anyone. That’s one thing about traveling with groups, sometimes a few are idiots. We spent a extra 30 minutes or so looking for them and severely short changed our next stop.

Our next stop was at the beautiful seaside town of Polignano A Mare. This small town seemed overrun with people - I suspect because it is very nice! We did have just enough time to walk through the town to the sea to checkout the caves.

We were back at Chef’s Table tonight for another wine paired dinner - this time it was Asian and was very good!
