melk, austria - day 13 - july 19, 2019

Last night during dinner we entered Austria. Today we visited the famous Melk Abbey. Melk Abbey is a very old Abbey and has burned down twice. The latest restoration was finished in 1995. Photos were not allowed inside, so I did find one from the internet to show the baroque architecture from the inside of the chapel, very fancy! Melk Abbey is a working monastery and high school, so there were portions that we did not tour.
