Chioggia, italy - DaY 13 - March 18, 2023

Today is our last day in the Venetian Lagoon. We had a quiet morning and then took a walking tour to the town of Chioggia where we have been docked for the last three days. Chioggia is referred to as “Little Venice” , I found the town to be very nice - it lacks the huge number of people and the commercialism that Venice suffers from. We were there on a Saturday morning and Chioggia is a fishing village and they were having the weekly fish market - very cool.

Many people had gone back into Venice today as we are not schedule to leave Chioggia until tonight to make a late morning port in Split, Croatia tomorrow.
