corfu, greece - DaY 17 - March 22, 2023

This morning we arrived in Greece! A very warm and beautiful morning - almost hot! It was so nice they slid the top off the pool deck on the ship!

We went on a morning walking tour of the old town of Corfu. Corfu is a beautiful island off the mainland of Greece. You can see Albania, Italy, and Greece Mainland from the island. Many people visit the island on holiday. We had a nice tour with a great guide and I ended the tour in a nice bar having a great local beer — Shelly joined me for a bit and then set off to explore a little more beofree leaving to go back to our ship. We were the first cruise ship of the season to visit and the locals were very excited to see us - about 65% of their economy is from tourism.
